Rema is one of the young generation artists that is making the Nigerian music industry proud with his type of sound. The Dumebi Singer is quite a talent to behold, and he has every good quality of a great musician, from his looks to his swag down to his style of music. He is a compendium of Afrobeat and trap music.

Well so many persons actually think that Rema was discovered by Don Jazzy but no. Rema was discovered and signed to Jonzing world records owned by Don Jazzy’s younger brother, De prince, just that Jonzing world records is a subsidiary of Marvin records.

Divine Ikubor, known professionally as Rema, is a Nigerian singer and rapper. In 2019, he signed a record deal with Jonzing World, a subsidiary of Mavin Records. He rose to prominence with the release of the song “Iron Man”, which appeared on Barack Obama’s 2019 summer Playlist.

Reports have it that De prince has been the one monitoring the young talent while he was still in Benin. He was then signed under Jonzing world records owned by De prince and was nurtured before he officially became a Marvin star. Yes his success story today is because of Don jazzy involvement in his career but the person who officially discovered Rema is De prince.

Rema has really achieved a lot as a young artist in the music industry. He won the headies next rated awards in 2019 defeating the likes of, Zlatan, Joeboy, Fireboy, Buju. In a short period of time Rema has crossed the African music industry and headed into the international scene.
